Jeff is one of Torstar Digital's original employees, arriving at the company after a short stint at Bell Canada. Before Bell, he spent 12 years at the Interactive Division of The Globe and Mail where he was Vice-President of Finance/Senior Director, Operations and Planning (Finance and Technology) and part of the executive team responsible for the planning and launch GlobeFund, GlobeInvestorGold, globeandmail.com and Workopolis. Jeff also led The Globe and Mail portion of the ChaptersGlobe.com initiative, Canada's first large scale e-commerce site. In addition to staff responsibilities for technology and business issues, Jeff took on additional role of Product Manager for this site including all profit/loss accountability.
He was a member of the board (Treasurer) for Workopolis for three years and is currently on the board of LiveDeal.ca.
Jeff has a Master of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
Jeff enjoys reading, gardening, skiing, playing golf, playing tennis and playing chauffeur to his kids. He is married and has two teenaged sons.
